Developed eight years ago to meet the demand for direct producer-to-consumer products year-round, the Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market provides local produce and foods in the winter months. The market was created by farmers who recognized that there were an abundance of local farmers who had products to sell outside of the traditional summer season. Shoppers can find a selection of grassfed meats, root vegetables, artisan breads and baked goods, farm fresh eggs and other locally grown or made products. October through April the farmers’ market is held in the Emerson Center Ballroom in downtown Bozeman, two Saturdays a month from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M.
