About an hour drive west of Pullman is Palouse Falls, Washington’s official state waterfall. It is a popular destination for locals as well as people visiting the area. Palouse Falls is one of the remnants of the glacier flood path, dating back thousands of years. Palouse Falls is located within Palouse Falls State Park, and though it is a more popular destination during the summer months, people often still visit during the winter. There are trails and other recreational activities around the park that can be accessed by visitors. This sight is not one to be missed.
